1. ARCHITECT/PROJECT MANAGER

Premier Arch/Dev firm-Boye Architecture in Downtown Decatur area, seeking versatile, creative design & production savvy  ARCHITECT-PROJECT MANAGER with GA Reg. (min 3 yrs GA architecture registration, B. Arch or M. Arch degree) to design both commercial and single/multi-family residential projects and lead/manage design teams. Experience an duties includes the following:

  1. Production of conceptual design and construction documents of custom home designs, stock house plans, apartment & townhome designs and commercial (office, church, educational, retail & mixed use) designs.

  2. Excellent conceptual design talent in designing of new custom home floor plan and elevation concepts with great color rendering skills.

  3. Excellent conceptual design talent in designing of new office, church, retail, educational, mixed use, master planning and miscellaneous commercial floor plan and elevation concepts with great color rendering skills.

  4. Must have good color rendering and conceptual drawing skills. Experience in 3d color rendering a plus.

  5. Cost efficient project execution, and production of projects to meet deadlines and efficient management of project budgets.

  6. Proven leadership track record of management of junior architects and engineering design teams.

  7. Exceptional customer service experience and experience in creating and maintaining good client relationships from start to finish of projects.

  8. Ability to meet clients to determine initial project scope and ability to write project proposals/agreements.

  9. Understands building codes and can do code reviews of commercial and residential projects.

  10. Experience in Construction Administration.

  11. AutoCAD 2014/2015 and Revert CAD production skills.

  12. Good verbal and written communication skills using WORD and EXCEL

  13. Experience in using Architectural Project Management software such as ARCHIOFFICE, EXCEL and other PM systems.

2. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Premier Arch/Dev firm-Boye Architecture in Downtown Decatur area, seeking creative ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT with min 5 yrs experience to serve as  a Customer Service oriented individual who is responsible for representing Boye Architecture/www.boyehomeplans.com as the Corporate Customer Service point of contact and for coordinating and supporting the administrative needs of Boye Architecture/www.boyehomeplans.com design team, contributing to the increased proficiency and productivity of team members. Experience includes and duties includes the following:

1.     Must have past Administrative Assistant experience with Architectural, Engineering, Real Estate Brokerage, and Development or Construction firm.

2.     Experience in Customer Service and Client Relationship Management software. Acts as liaison between Customers (current, former, and future clients) and senior leadership in order to enhance the overall customer, work and office experience.

3.     Responsible for answering phone calls in office and is first contact with anybody contacting office via email or phone. Maintains and manages the Customer Service email and phone communications with clients and the call management system.

4.     Responsible for building, packaging, and timely distribution of monthly client’s newsletters, marketing letters, post cards and other to new and existing clients.

5.     Organizes and maintains electronic and manual files and other records, as required.

6.     Arranges & coordinates document management systems.Coordinates submission of quarterly reports, and other monthly & quarterly operations and compliance reports, as required.

7.     Gathers and submits for approval all office supplies to assure effective expense control. Procures all office supply.

8.     Is detail oriented and ensures the quality of outgoing documents, reports, presentations, etc.

9.     Assists by preparing spreadsheets, charts, reports, presentations, and other documents as required.

10.  Assists with preparations, arrangements, and set-up for meetings.

11.  Coordinates travel accommodations for out of town properties for meetings, as required.

12.  Proactively solves problems.

13.  Works diligently on all assigned special projects to improve office and property efficiency.

14.  Assists the Principal and Project managers, with special projects when as necessary.

15.  Completes all other duties as assigned.

16.  Up to date on social media use for marketing and customer relationship management.

17.  Experience and Qualifications as follows:

·         Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college in Business Administration or  

·         Marketing, 5 years years related experience and/or training

·         Strong Customer Service orientation and mindset.

·         Ability to support multiple people and projects as required. Previous experience supporting a team is preferred.

·         Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating, and procedure manuals. 

·         Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

·         Positive attitude and people oriented.

·         Ability to work with and understand persons of all ethnic and educational backgrounds.

·         Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems.

·         Must be proficient in the latest software applications including but not limited to Windows & MS Office, Illustrator, & other graphic layout publishing software, advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required.

·         Must have a professional demeanor and image and be pleasant to work with.
